...Well this is quite a contrast to the last comic.
[link] and what better music for temporary adoptive father-son time with Mario and Mallow!
It's like the nature walk music we all strive to have. xD But I apologize for such a long wait, it really threw me for a loop, doing this comic, haha!

But his worst offense?

...Mushroom Dependency.

Ah yes, little did Mario know his best friend would be lacking clothing, and that he himself would mistakenly lock liips with his arch-nemesis.
The irony, it burns!
Heh, but yes, this one was hard to imagine, the characterization of Mario and Mallow pre-Rose Town! Especially after the developmental things that were happening in the last couple of comics, it was very hard to get the characters in a sense to show what they were like before Geno and Bowser and whatnot! Either way, seems Mario was a lot more jerkish and cocky back there, not to mention how he hates Bowser- Mallow is still a bit shaken up on learning that he isn't a tadpole and has to find his family, so he's basically much more soft and childish back here, poor kid! (But we all know he soon starts to grow up!) And Bowser is still pretty bossy over the troops, acting like he's in charge of everything, when two guys already just left behind his back! I do think his plan would be pretty good, if it weren't for the fact that the "long way" consists of going from Rose Way to Barrel Volcano... There's much development to be made, that's for sure! It's also about the time that Geno would start his journey below, the whole Rose Town shabang imminent here! Mario gets his head handed to him, of course!

Again, I apologize for the long wait, it was just pretty hard to get the whole plot and characterization here in my head and on a sketch! Plus I forgot to mention that I had started school back on the 27th, so that's another good reason there! xD

Can't forget that it's rare for Goombas to actually see Mario and get away unscathed. xD Ah, all the irony.

Whatever happened to Misstar and her squeeze?
It'd be funny if Bowser punched out the guy who Misstar dumped Geno for, because then Geno and Bowser could bond over being looked over for another guy (in Bowser's case, Mario)!

That I have. xD Having school around now just makes it a bit harder to get the characters and story right, so it takes longer to sketch it all out.
And it's only been one month I think, I guess would just rather take my time on getting it right, you know? I don't like quickly slapping things together, haha!

...Plus this one kind of threw me off in the whole character development area, and it took a while to get back into the right mindset, heheh.
