I guess I should probably do a New Year's kind of journal, even if it is late- But anyways, I hope you guys had a happy Christmas/Haunukkah/Kwanzaa whatever! I think I had a pretty good one, and although a stupid couple who believed they were in our time slot for bell ringing on the end of the world day didn't allow me to play Majora's Mask music to people in Walgreens, I still got to play music nonetheless on Christmas Eve day, and it was pretty darn cool when people recognized the music. It made me happy to see a person recognize Green Greens as well as the Forest Maze. (As well as old favorites like Danse Macabre and Hoedown) but unfortunately it's hard to play Beatles music because it really only sounds like Beatles music when I play on the piano, but nevertheless it was really cool just to see people happy like that, especially when they caught what the song was- I think the best part was playing Windwaker's intro [link] and when I hit the Zelda theme part... Oh man, the look on everyone's faces in and out the store was priceless. xD I was with my Mother, as she was ringing, and I think she said something along the lines of "Zelda, really? You think anyone'll recognize it?" And this guy who had walked out, walked straight back in and said "Well, some of us did...!" Ah man. It was good...
And then we went to a friends' for an Eve party, and it was fun, but I guess I didn't really want to chug any beers like certain others in college so they probably had a nice time of their own. xD
And for Christmas-
-Some Acrylics supplies that I might need for class next semester
-Hey Jude/Revolution T shirt
-Tire Inflator
-Tool Bag
-Kirby's Epic Yarn
-Zelda Master Collection (What I used to have as a kid but could not do very well with beating considering with how much of arachnophobia I had back then-)
-WWTSD Stig TopGear bumper sticker. xD

And I think that's it! It was a nice christmas!

And it's funny, looking back at old things I used to play as a kid, considering I'm finally able to play Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time after a long time, I'm pretty sure I had a little crush on the Deku Link as a kid, but maybe that's just me, with how we all have our funny little crushes on characters or even real people throughout the times! I've looked back and it's pretty hilarious noticing these kinds of things I had for characters then and now. xD

Pajama Sam (The best children's learning games no contest Putt Putt or Freddie Fish)
Sonic (I played a lot of old sonic and I can guiltily say I watched Sonic X as a kid as well. I was an AmyxSonic person back then! xD)
Knuckles (I... really liked his voice in SA2...)
Leon from Resident Evil 4 (5th grade, looking at Nintendo Powers aw yeah. Even though I never played the game. xD)
Alastor from Viewtiful Joe (I can't really say why, but I still wanted to see more of him)
Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist (I was in a crying depression after seeing him get stabbed through the chest back then, no joke.)
Kyo from Fruits Basket (Yeah, I do vaguely remember liking that guy. xD It was a cross between him and the seahorse guy!)
Kratos from Tales of Symphonia (No no not the other Kratos! I really liked him, especially with the giant plot twist in the game, just... gah I liked him. xD)
Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia (Like father like son? Sorry, that was a spoiler.)
Robin from Teen Titans (Same voice actor as the guy above as well!)
Meta Knight (Still exists, especially whenever I see a scene of the Kirby Anime I saw as a kid, and what's underneath the mask just sealed the deal.)
Duster from Mother (Kind of? I did like him compared to the others.)
Bowser (It was when I played BIS, but I like him even better as I write him, heheh.)
Geno (More specifically when I write him, I suppose! xD Not meant to be a shameless plug in any way!)
George Harrison (Because I like the quiet ones better, not to mention I compare him to Geno as well! And those eyes... Ah well, at least we still have his son!)
James May (I don't care if he's 50 something, I still find him cute with the other 2 guys as a trio!)
Mario (More specifically when I write him, because I like him the most that way!)
Mikau from Majora's Mask (YAYY! BABYY! Okay, that part made me crack up despite it still being his death scene, I just think it's sweet how he's getting his illegitimate children back for his girlfriend strangely enough)

And yes, there were some others from personal life, but I doubt it has merit on the internet, so I should probably stay mum about that stuff. All I can learn from this is that I seem to have something for blue or red guys in tight or no clothing, wearing capes. It'd probably be an even longer list if I listed all of the female characters that I wanted to be like as a kid. xD
So what about you guys? Any major affections for characters you have now or remember as a kid? It's kind of a random question, but hey, we all have had it, right?

Awww, I wish I heard some Nintendo jams during Christmas, though Mother music is good for all year round.
Anyway, there's a lot of characters and ships I love, but there's only one that will forever be in my heart: the Happy Mask Salesman.

I know. I have a thing for creepy red-heads. Especially those with Mario's FACE strapped to their backpacks. And ALLLLL my friends know and teased me about it, even now. In fact, one of my BFFs sent me a late Christmas/early Valentine package with HAPPY MASK SALESMAN EARRINGS last week. I most definitely wear them out in public because they are the best thing ever. ^w^

Aeris from FF7 has really grown on me as an amazing character.
Also, Cid from the same game has always stood out but now I regard him as the real hero of the game. ^_^

Oh man, if someone was playing Zelda and Forest Maze and all that wonderful music out side of a store I was shopping it... I'd wait until they finished, give them a big hug, and then give them all of my money! XDXD Woohoo! You're A Tales of Symphonia fan, too! 8D Lloyd and Kratos ftw!!

When I was a kid, I loved every main character from any show I watched (wait... I still do! :iconteheplz:)! I think I had a little crush on Super Mario, too! I love X from Megaman X, Link... oh, the list can go on!

Haaaaah, another person who liked Knuckles. xD I thought I was the only person. I've got a huge soft spot for Claus, and whenever I play Brawl I always use the Claus skin. Oh geez, there were others over the years. Llyud, Geno, and they're usually at least one NPC from each Professor Layton game who sticks out to me, but none more so than C- I mean, Future Luke. Ermegerd, the final hour of the game. He looks so... -melt- And William from Code Lyoko (Season 4 in specific, if you know what I mean), and Reala, and Vaati and Shadow Link from the Four Swords manga... So many. c:

well, there was this one time when i was a small boy, i rented some game from blockbuster where the cars had faces for the super nintendo (i don't know the name of it XD) and i saw kirby's face in one of the tracks. i was very curious about who kirby was so i returned that game, then got kirby superstar and that's when i sort of fell in love with kirby.

Well hey, glad to hear you had fun, man, sure would've been nice to hear someone playing Zelda (or even better- Mother!) tunes in the store |D and also--

PAJAMA SAM?! GMGNMFIBNGFIBMGBNMBF Those gamessss <3333 they hold a special place in my heart, all of them. I think they were some of the first I played in my life, haha. I can tell someday I'm going to get my hands on all of them and play them again, even if I'm triple the intended age group |D or more!

Anyway, yeah! -huggle!- ^u^

Yeah, I think I did play Winters and Snowman in there! I enjoyed trying out Stone Tower Temple and the Deku Palace, since most of the dungeon themes in both games usually aren't very melodic.
Pajama Sam was probably my first childhood crush, heheh. I looked back at the Darkness game, because that was probably my first game ever played, and it's amazing how even adults secretly played their child's game, just because of how fun the creators made it! Seriously, I was surprised that it made me laugh seeing it again, and the animation and bg art is pretty darn good still. I'm thankful that my parents had me play this stuff!
